Service Description

E-learning is a great method of learning for those without the time or availability to attend a classroom taught programme. Learners can start an e-learning programme at a time to suit them. It is an interesting and enjoyable way to learn and learners can gain support from a tutor whilst working at their own pace. The programme can be accessed at any time for the period of one year. The programme can also be frozen in time (paused) if learners are unable to study at some particular point in time, allowing the access period to be extended. These programmes are delivered via a blended interactive e-learning system in multi-media formats including slide shows, simulations, practical exercises and quizzes. This is backed up with templates, guides and downloadable course notes. The blended learning incorporates optional attendance at no additional cost on our tutor led workshops in York which provide an excellent opportunity to consolidate the e-learning through practical group exercises. We offer learners the flexibility to choose the focus of their workshop depending on which areas are of most interest/relevance to them.
